In a statement made during a program he attended, Mahmut Tuncer said that if his life were to be adapted for the big screen, he would want Serenay Sarıkaya to play him. Tuncer remarked, "Her acting is very good; she could play me. I mean, makeup and things can be done." This preference has sparked widespread reaction on social media.
Previously, Zerrin Özer, Kibariye, Deniz Seki, and the late singer Güllü had also expressed similar wishes for Serenay Sarıkaya to portray them. However, it is known that Sarıkaya has not portrayed any famous person in the projects she has taken part in to date.
