Marriage rumors surrounding Ebru Gündeş

It has been claimed that Ebru Gündeş, who divorced Reza Zarrab—the man arrested in the US in 2016 on money laundering charges and released following a plea deal—is preparing to remarry.

It is alleged that the famous singer, who ended her 11-year marriage to Reza Zarrab in 2021, is set to tie the knot with businessman Murat Özdemir.

According to a report by Hürriyet, businessman Murat Özdemir met Ebru Gündeş through mutual friends.

It is claimed that Murat Özdemir, who has two children from his first marriage and one from his second, has decided to marry Ebru Gündeş.

It is suggested that the couple is preparing to get married soon.

SHE HAD DIVORCED REZA ZARRAB

In 2021, Ebru Gündeş filed for divorce at the Bodrum Family Court, alleging that Zarrab had been unfaithful.

After Zarrab agreed to an 'uncontested' divorce, a hearing was held in Istanbul. The couple was divorced in the first session of the case.

The court granted custody of the couple's daughter to the mother, while ruling that she should have visitation with her father at specified intervals.
