100-year-old Bernie Littman and 102-year-old Marjorie Fiterman tied the knot at their nursing home in Philadelphia.
Littman's granddaughter, Sarah Sicherman, stated that they applied to 'Guinness World Records' because they believe this marriage age is a record.
Sicherman explained that her grandfather was a musician and had been married for 65 years, and that after his wife passed away, he moved to the nursing home where he met Fiterman.
Sicherman noted that Fiterman, who also lost her spouse, had been married for 60 years.
Sicherman mentioned that her grandfather and Fiterman attended the same university, pointing out that the two did not know each other at that time.
'HE INSISTED ON A WEDDING'
Explaining that the relationship between Littman and 102-year-old Fiterman has been ongoing for 9 years, Sicherman said, "My grandfather surprised us by saying he wanted to get married. We said we could organize a short ceremony, but he insisted on a wedding, and they got married."
