İlyas Salman, one of the legendary names of Turkish cinema, had worried his fans with news that he suffered from facial paralysis last March.

Having successfully completed his treatment process, Salman visited the Automobile Museum in Antalya.

Salman experienced emotional moments when he saw the minibus exhibited at the museum that was used in the film "Çiçek Abbas." This minibus holds an important place in the artist's career. Salman got into the minibus to reminisce about the old days and reenacted unforgettable lines from the film together with Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz. Visitors accompanied these moments with applause and took photos with Salman.

The artist expressed his feelings about the minibus with these words: “This car went back and forth on the Alibeyköy–Aksaray line for a year. I overcame my inexperience in this vehicle; I learned how to drive here. The film ‘Çiçek Abbas’ is very special to me. No matter how much I thank Mayor Mesut for this wonderful surprise, it is not enough.”

Mayor Mesut Kocagöz expressed his respect for Salman with these words:

“I am glad you are here. May God grant you a long life. You are a person who will never be forgotten in Turkey. You are an artist who made us all laugh when we were children and who still inspires young people,” he said.
