Chef Eren Kaşıkçı, the 2021 winner of the MasterChef competition, has been found dead in his home in Istanbul. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into Kaşıkçı's death.

Eren Kaşıkçı, who became the champion of a televised cooking competition in 2021 and was known as 'Red Beard' (Kızıl Sakal), was found dead in his home in Sarıyer.
Relatives of Eren Kaşıkçı, who won the 2021 MasterChef competition, had been unable to reach him since yesterday.
Following a report, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the home where he lived alone.
Upon examination, the medical teams determined that Kaşıkçı had passed away.
Following an investigation at the scene by gendarmerie teams, Kaşıkçı's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into Kaşıkçı's suspicious death.
