Four months after the death of the actor, who brought the character Chandler Bing to life for years, his will has been disclosed. It turns out Perry had prepared his will in 2009.
In his will, Perry left more than 1 million dollars to a foundation named after a famous Woody Allen film character.
According to legal documents, the Friends star, who died on October 28, 2023, at the age of 54 due to an overdose of ketamine, had prepared a will in 2009 stating that he wanted to leave most of his assets to a foundation.
And he created a foundation called the Alvy Singer Living Trust, named after the character from Allen's 1977 film Annie Hall.
HAS A FORTUNE OF 120 MILLION DOLLARS
Perry's fortune is estimated to be 120 million dollars.
Lisa Ferguson and Mike Myers' ex-wife Robin Ruzan are listed as co-executors of the will; both Perry and Ruzan worked together on the game show Celebrity Liar in the 2010s.
Additionally, the star's father John Perry, mother Suzanne Morrison, half-sister Caitlin Morrison, and Rachel Dunn are also among the names included in the will.
Perry was with Dunn between 2003 and 2005. He signed the will on October 26, 2009.
WHY DID MATTHEW PERRY DIE?
Matthew Perry was found face down in the hot tub at his home in Los Angeles at 4:17 PM on October 28.
The autopsy revealed that Perry died from the acute effects of ketamine and drowning.
The actor's body contained a similar amount of ketamine to that of a patient under general anesthesia.
