Melania Trump challenges Donald Trump in her new book!

In her newly published memoir, Melania Trump has made a surprising admission that contradicts her husband Donald Trump's political views, declaring that she passionately defends women's right to abortion.

In her book titled 'Melania', the former First Lady stated the following:

"It is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government."

In her book, Melania Trump asks, "Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body?" and adds, "A woman's fundamental right of individual liberty, for her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes. Restricting a woman's right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body."

During his presidency, Trump appointed three conservative justices to the U.S. Supreme Court, who in 2022 overturned the landmark 1973 decision that federally guaranteed women's right to abortion.

Since 2022, Democrats have been campaigning intensely for the restoration of abortion rights.
