Her husband, Necati Arıcı, expressed his longing for his wife through posts on his social media account. Accompanying a photo of them together, Arıcı wrote, "I miss you so much. Rest in peace, my beautiful-faced one." He had previously shared a message saying, "May your place be in heaven, my beautiful-faced one. I love you very much; you are always in my heart."
