Dutch pilot Narine Melkumjan was in the air in an Extra 330LX aerobatic aircraft when the canopy (the transparent structure covering the cockpit) suddenly opened and shattered.
Despite the shock of the incident, Melkumjan managed to land the aircraft safely.
