Akkaya stated that she had confiscated the phone of her 16-year-old daughter, A.Ö., which the girl had been hiding from her. She announced that her daughter had physically attacked her.

Regarding her daughter being taken into state care, the famous model shared a new video on her social media account, saying, "Yes, I sent her to the Child Protection Agency of my own volition. To teach her a lesson!"
