Muazzez Abacı's body brought to Istanbul
The body of Muazzez Abacı, a great name in Turkish Classical Music who passed away in the USA, has been brought to Turkey. The Turkish Airlines (THY) flight carrying Abacı's body arrived in Istanbul from Washington today at 15:30.

Muazzez Abacı had suffered a heart attack in the USA, where she had gone to visit her daughter on November 5.
The artist, who had a stent placed at the hospital where she was taken, passed away on November 12 due to complications in her kidneys.
A FUNERAL CEREMONY WILL BE HELD AT THE ATATÜRK CULTURAL CENTER
Abacı's body was brought to Istanbul from Washington via Turkish Airlines (THY) today at 15:30 following the necessary procedures. The body was then received by her family. A ceremony will be held for the master artist tomorrow at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM), after which she will be laid to rest.
