The Istanbul Governor's Office has published a comprehensive appointment list for the police force for the 2025 summer period. In this list, the new duty stations for 9 deputy provincial police chiefs, 17 branch managers, 12 district police chiefs, 4 deputy district police chiefs, and 7 deputy branch managers have been determined.
Among the appointments announced in the morning hours, one of the most notable names was Şinasi Yüzbaşıoğlu, the husband of television presenter Müge Anlı.
Yüzbaşıoğlu, who previously served at the Beşiktaş District Police Department, has been appointed as the Sarıyer District Police Chief with the new appointment decision.
