Musician Fahri İlker Çaybaş, cousin of Sıla Gençoğlu, passes away
Musician Fahri İlker Çaybaş, cousin of the famous artist Sıla Gençoğlu and grandson of former Denizli deputy Rıza Gençoğlu, has passed away at the age of 52 following a sudden health issue.

The entertainment world has been shaken by another painful loss. Following the passing of the famous artist Ferdi Tayfur, 52-year-old Fahri İlker Çaybaş, grandson of former Deputy Rıza Gençoğlu and cousin of the famous artist Sıla Gençoğlu, has passed away.
After living in Ankara for many years, Çaybaş had moved to the Marmaris district of Muğla last year. While visiting his daughter in Adana, Çaybaş suddenly fell ill in the evening and was rushed to the hospital. Despite all interventions by doctors at the hospital, Çaybaş passed away, and his death was met with deep sorrow by his family and loved ones.
The passing of Fahri İlker Çaybaş deeply affected many, especially the famous artist Sıla Gençoğlu and her family. While messages of condolence poured in for his family and loved ones, it was learned that Fahri İlker Çaybaş's funeral will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, following the noon prayer at the Akşar Neighborhood Square in the Acıpayam district, after which he will be laid to rest in the Akşar Neighborhood Cemetery.
