New accusations leveled against Elçin Sangu

Tensions between the parties continue due to payment issues following work done by an architecture firm that Elçin Sangu contracted in 2023 through her boyfriend, Yunus Özdiken.

Firm owner Abdullah Celal Erol had claimed that Sangu failed to make a payment of 170 thousand liras and had initiated enforcement proceedings as a result. The debt lawsuit filed at the Istanbul Anatolian 23rd Civil Court of First Instance also became a part of this process.

In response to these claims, Yunus Özdiken had stated, "We are principled people; we do not let our rights be trampled upon. Furthermore, no one's money remains with us," alleging that the company had damaged their home and threatened them.

Abdullah Celal Erol has come to the fore with new accusations, stating he could not collect his dues following the work performed at Elçin Sangu's home. Erol filed a criminal complaint with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Sangu, accusing her of 'fraud,' 'forgery of documents,' and 'misleading judicial authorities.' He also took legal action against Yunus Özdiken over allegations of 'threats and insults.'

In a statement made on the social media platform X, Erol said, "We have filed a criminal complaint at the Istanbul courthouse against actress Elçin Sangu for fraud, and against her boyfriend Yunus Özdiken for threats and insults. We have also filed a complaint with the disciplinary board of the Istanbul Bar Association against their lawyer, Mesut Kılıç." These developments indicate that the legal battle between the parties is set to deepen further.
