New comic book-themed Istanbul Bookstore opens in Kabataş

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has opened a new branch of the 'Istanbul Bookstore,' which serves in various locations across Istanbul, at the former Kabataş Square, which has been transformed into the Kabataş Transfer Center.

Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu announced the news of the new branch's opening on his social media account.

In his post, İmamoğlu shared the news of the new Istanbul Bookstore, which will serve with a concept dedicated solely to comic books, with the note: "The Kabataş Transfer Center has both integrated metro, tram, ferry, bus, and funicular lines and has become a pleasant social space featuring green areas, an observation deck, a walking path, a Beltur cafe, and an Istanbul Bookstore dedicated to comic books."

In the video shared by İmamoğlu for the promotion of the new branch, it is explained that the bookstore contains nearly 2 thousand comic books in different categories for both adults and children, and footage from the bookstore is included.
