New development regarding Kadir İnanır's health: His doctor explains

Kadir İnanır, who fell ill at his home in Beykoz on the morning of March 24 and was taken to Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital, had undergone surgery after suffering a stroke due to a blood clot in his brain.

The treatment of the master actor of Turkish cinema, İnanır, continues in the intensive care unit.

Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Necdet Sağlam had previously said, "When he arrived, there was paralysis on his right side, and he was unconscious. A blockage was detected in the main artery feeding the brain. A very successful procedure was performed within the first two hours. The clot in the blocked vessel was removed. Blood flow to the brain was restored.

However, he was naturally taken to intensive care. He is being monitored in our intensive care unit while intubated. He will not be woken up within the first 24-48 hours. Hopefully, there will be no complications that may arise, as long as there is no new bleeding, because the procedure was very successful."

'WE WILL WAKE HIM UP SOON'

Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital Deputy Chief Physician Dr. Raif Kaan Baş stated that the waking process for the 74-year-old actor, who was intubated as a precaution, is ongoing:

"His current condition is stable. He is improving both clinically and radiologically. The withdrawal of anesthetic substances from the body must be done gradually. We are going through this process more slowly for Kadir Bey to ensure safety. We will likely wake him up soon. Based on imaging and blood tests, it does not look like there will be permanent damage. However, this will become clear once he regains consciousness."
