Apple, which recently introduced the iPhone 16 model, is preparing to update its SE series, which it developed specifically for those looking for a more affordable model. We last saw the iPhone SE refreshed in 2022. Now, the 4th generation is on its way.
Coming in early 2025 with Apple Intelligence support
According to Gurman's sources, Apple aims to launch the iPhone SE 4 model in the first months of next year. This suggests that an event could be held in early 2025 where new products will be introduced.
In the details shared about the iPhone SE 4, Gurman emphasizes that the device will have a more modern design similar to the iPhone 14. This means we will see a 6.1-inch screen. Additionally, consistent with previous leaks, information has been added that Face ID will finally replace Touch ID.
Furthermore, it is stated that the device will come with Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence support, which is currently only available on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models. Gurman had previously voiced this claim and reaffirmed it in his new report. If it really comes with Apple Intelligence support, we can say that it could significantly increase the device's sales. After all, offering such features on such an affordable iPhone is a situation that normally requires at least an iPhone 15 Pro model.
As for previous leaks, there is a high probability that we will see an OLED screen on the iPhone SE 4. We will encounter a single camera setup on the back. It is also rumored that its price could rise from 429 dollars to 499 dollars due to upcoming improvements.
