34-year-old actor Nick Pasqual allegedly broke into the California home of his ex-girlfriend Allie Shehorn around 4:30 a.m. on May 23 and stabbed her multiple times.
It was reported that Shehorn sustained numerous cuts to her neck, arms, and abdomen. The artist and special effects producer, known for her work on 'Rebel Moon' and 'Mean Girls,' was found by her mother later that day.
Pasqual is charged with attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary, and domestic violence. The actor will be extradited to Los Angeles County, where the court proceedings will continue.
COULD FACE LIFE IN PRISON
If convicted, he faces a potential life sentence in state prison.
According to a restraining order obtained by the Daily Mail, Shehorn had filed for a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend days before the attack, accusing him of assaulting her in at least four separate incidents.
In the restraining order, it is alleged that Pasqual repeatedly attacked her, used a belt, broke doors, caused her to suffer a concussion, raped her, and strangled her.
