Metin Akpınar's extramarital affair from 36 years ago resulted in twin daughters, it was revealed.
One of his daughters, Duygu Nebioğlu, officially confirmed that she is the biological daughter of the 82-year-old artist through a DNA test and a court ruling that was finalized recently.
The identical twins were left by their mother with a caregiver in a village in Antalya when they were only two months old, and after being taken under state protection by the Child Protection Agency, they were adopted by the Nebioğlu family.

Stating that she has two other sisters besides her twin, Duygu Nebioğlu most recently participated in Müge Anlı's program to reach her mother, Suphiye Orancı.
