Yalı Çapkını, for which Eccho Rights handles international distribution, has signed a new agreement with Azam Channels.
The company, which acquired the rights to broadcast the series on the African continent, will bring Yalı Çapkını to screens in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi, Ghana, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
NUMBER OF COUNTRIES WHERE IT IS LICENSED EXCEEDS 100
The series, produced by OGM Pictures, was also sold last month to Poland (TVP), the Czech Republic, Serbia (Happy TV), and Kazakhstan (Khabar). Thus, the number of countries where it is licensed has exceeded 100. Continuing its success abroad, Yalı Çapkını became the first local series sold to Finland in early 2023.
It also became the first series to be licensed by a commercial channel (TV4) in Sweden. Yalı Çapkını also succeeded in becoming the first Turkish series to be broadcast on a national channel in the MENA region after the ban that had been in place since 2018 was lifted.
