Nursena Say fails to place in Miss World pageant

Nursena Say, who was crowned 'Miss Turkey' in 2022, represented our country at the 71st Miss World pageant.

Say had traveled to New Delhi, the capital of India, for the pageant camp in recent weeks.

The final of the 71st Miss World pageant has taken place. 26-year-old Nursena Say did not place.

Sharing her experiences during the competition process on her social media account, Nursena Say made a new post. Say expressed her feelings with the following words:

"Today is the culmination of my journey at Miss World. As I reflect on this incredible experience, I am filled with a deep sense of pride and gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the legacy of beauty with a purpose. I owe a debt of gratitude to Julia, the Chair and CEO of Miss World, who helped shape not only my journey but also my sense of purpose and responsibility.

Throughout this remarkable journey, I have gained more than just a title; I have gained memories of a lifetime and made lasting friendships. We laughed together, cried together, and learned from each other, each contributing to our collective growth and evolution. This journey has not only enriched my life but also taught me invaluable lessons about unity, compassion, and the power of collective action."
