HOLIDAY DENSITY IN SPRING MONTHS
National Sovereignty and Children's Day on April 23 falls on a Thursday in 2026. Since Labor and Solidarity Day on May 1 will be celebrated on a Friday, it creates a three-day holiday opportunity by combining with the weekend.
Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day on May 19 will be observed on a Tuesday.
DATES FOR RAMADAN AND SACRIFICE FEAST
According to the calendar announced by the Presidency of Religious Affairs, Ramadan Feast will be celebrated in March. While the eve of the holiday falls on Thursday, March 19, the first day of the holiday will be Friday, March 20. The holiday will continue with the second and third days on March 21 and 22.
Sacrifice Feast will begin in the final days of May. While Tuesday, May 26 is accepted as the eve, Wednesday, May 27 will be the first day of the holiday. The second, third, and fourth days of the holiday will be observed on May 28, 29, and 30.
OFFICIAL HOLIDAYS IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR
For the remainder of the year, Democracy and National Unity Day on July 15 falls on a Wednesday. Victory Day on August 30 will be celebrated on a Sunday.
Republic Day on October 29 falls on a Thursday, while a half-day work schedule will be applied on Wednesday, October 28.
