Oğuzhan Uğur compares the Polat couple to a 'symbol'

Oğuzhan Uğur made a striking post regarding Engin and Dilan Polat, the couple who have dominated Turkey's agenda for days. Uğur took his followers back years, recalling the 'Titan' chain, a fraud scheme from that era.

Known for their social media posts showcasing their ultra-luxurious lifestyle, Engin and Dilan Polat, whose earnings were later revealed to be from illegal sources, are currently among the most prominent figures occupying Turkey's agenda.

While some closely follow the interrogation processes and try to predict where the matter will lead, YouTuber Oğuzhan Uğur took his followers back years with his social media post and compared that time to the present.

With his post, Uğur demonstrated that fraud in Turkey has only changed form over the years but has never ended.

Here is that post by Oğuzhan Uğur:

"For days, the moment I open my phone, I encounter a new video of the Polats' vulgarity. I mean, until that airplane video, they shot such strange videos that were never taken into account. They were even applauded. I remember the birthday party that blew up the Titan chain.

One party, one video. The public reacted, and they blew up the chain instantly. Think about it... There wasn't even Twitter or anything back then.

Have we become desensitized over the years to those who reach into our pockets, who work less than us but eat more than us? What happened, I wonder? Regardless of what happens, I think the Polats will be the symbol of the new generation of internet swindling.

Because there are many 'Polat-like' figures on social media, we will most likely hear more names and watch more court cases in the coming period. At the end of every incident, we will remember the Polats; just as we call every tissue 'Selpak', we will call every profiteer selling cream 'Polat-ism'.

Of course, my dear country, which learned about pyramid schemes thanks to Titan years ago, will not stop being a victim of Çiftlik Bank despite all its experience, and will not neglect to 'like' new Polats, but so be it... At least thanks to these cases, no one will be able to throw dollars at our eyes in the virtual world anymore. (By the way, those who remember Titan are definitely old. Sorry.)"
