Okan Buruk: "Even if we divorce, we won't part ways"

Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk and fashion designer Nihan Akkuş married in 2007. Buruk and Akkuş, whose son Ali Yiğit was born in 2009, divorced in February 2024.

While Nihan Buruk has been living in Paris for two years, Okan Buruk has had a successful career with the championships he won with Galatasaray.

Okan Buruk and Nihan Akkuş came together for the first time since their divorce to have dinner with their son, Ali Yiğit. During the dinner meeting in Bebek, where they appeared to be in high spirits, Okan Buruk and Nihan Akkuş responded to the questions, "Have you reconciled? Will there be a reunion? It is said that you will remarry. What would you like to say?" by simply stating, "We are always together. We are always together."
