After overcoming the lymphoma he was diagnosed with in 2013, Özkan Uğur began receiving cancer treatment again in 2020. Uğur, who spent 1.5 months in intensive care last year, passed away on July 8 after failing to respond to treatments due to various complications in his lungs.
"WE SAW THE GREATEST LOYALTY FROM CEM YILMAZ"
Özkan Uğur's wife, Aysun Aslan Uğur, had previously stated in an interview, "We saw the greatest support and loyalty from Cem Yılmaz. May God be pleased with him and may everything he touches turn to gold. When we came home on the day we lost Özkan, Cem and his team had already taken control of the situation. They hosted everyone, fed them, and took care of them. The house was overflowing; can a person really run to help with everything? They did. I will never forget it for the rest of my life."
