According to a report by Variety, American actress Anne Hathaway left the facility where she was having her hair and makeup done after hearing that workers at Vanity Fair, where she had gone for a photo shoot, had begun a work stoppage.
The workers, who are members of the union affiliated with Condé Nast, walked off the job during the morning hours when Oscar nominations were being announced and held a rally in front of the company's office in Manhattan.
