Actress Özge Özpirinçci has issued a written statement following the accusations made on social media by Kübra Süzgün, with whom she co-starred in the series "Kadın" (Woman). Özpirinçci stated that the allegations directed at her are untrue and announced that she has initiated legal proceedings.

In her statement, Özpirinçci explained that the reason she had remained silent until now was "to protect a young girl and prevent her from being harmed further." The actress emphasized that the matter is not one that should be turned into tabloid fodder.

In her statement, Özpirinçci said she does not accept the allegations made against her, stating, "None of the allegations directed at me reflect the truth. I have made the necessary applications to protect my legal rights and have initiated the relevant processes."

The actress also stated that, due to the ongoing legal process and the best interests of the child, she will not be making any further statements regarding the matter at this stage.

In a video she posted on social media, Kübra Süzgün made serious accusations against Özpirinçci, claiming that she and her family were put in danger and alleging, "Seven years ago, they fed me and my family to gangs."

The background of the dispute involves allegations that some of Süzgün's childhood photos were used without permission by a home appliance company in 2015. Süzgün's father, Serkan Süzgün, also argues that his daughter's rights were transferred improperly by third parties and that they were victimized during the litigation process.
