The Özilhan couple parts ways: 'Our shared responsibility for our children will continue'

Yasemin Özilhan has parted ways with her husband İzzet Özilhan, whom she married in 2011. Following the official end of their marriage, Özilhan issued a written statement, saying, 'there is no betrayal'.

Here is that statement from Yasemin Özilhan:

"I have decided to divorce Mr. İzzet Özilhan, to whom I have been married for 14 years, based on mutual respect and understanding, and we have been divorced as of September 3, 2025. This process took place in an agreed-upon manner and on a completely civil ground.

I would like to specifically state that the allegations of "betrayal" and "cheating" that have appeared in the press in recent days do not reflect the truth. I am following with sadness the emergence of news regarding our private lives that has no basis in truth.

Even though İzzet and I have parted ways, we will always continue our parental responsibilities for the healthy development of our children with a shared understanding and harmony."
