Actor and MFÖ band member Özkan Uğur, who passed away at the age of 69 after a long battle with cancer, left his fans in mourning.
The artist's wife, Aysun Uğur, spoke for the first time in months.
Speaking to Posta, Uğur said, "Of them all, Özkan was the one most in love with MFÖ. If it weren't for Özkan, MFÖ would have disbanded. And a long time ago... Özkan was always the bond between that duo and he managed things. He would calm the environment down."
'IT IS NOT MY PLACE TO INTERFERE'
Continuing her words, Uğur stated, "At this point, they have become 'MF'. I didn't know either, I learned it from the media. I said it takes great courage, bravo. If they want, they can remain as MFÖ. It is not my place to interfere with what name they use from now on. I wasn't angry, of course... The only thing I said was; just wait a little! These things started to be discussed and formed too early. At least let us mourn for 6 months, please let's not talk about anything."
