Products from famous jam and sauce brand being recalled from markets

Certain jam, chutney, and pesto products manufactured by UK-based Anglesey Foods Ltd are being recalled after the discovery of undeclared allergens, such as barley and sulphites, in their ingredients. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) stated that these substances pose serious health risks, particularly for sensitive individuals.
According to the FSA's statement, individuals with sensitivities to these allergens should strictly avoid consuming these products. For those with celiac disease or sensitivity to sulphites, these ingredients can cause serious reactions ranging from digestive issues to respiratory distress.
Consumers who have purchased any of these products and have allergies are advised not to consume them and to return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund. Anglesey Foods Ltd is known as a brand recognized for its handmade products.

- Cowboy Chutney (174g): January 10, August 10 and 17, October 2, November 19, 2025

- Hot Chili Jam (174g): February 6 and 12, May 3, July 29, August 4, September 2 and 6, October 4, November 30, 2025
