Prosecutor leading Dilan-Engin Polat investigation reassigned
The duty station of prosecutor Gökalp Kökçü, who was conducting the illegal betting investigations into Dilan-Engin Polat, Özlem-Taylan Öz, and the president of Tuzlaspor, has been changed.

The 1st Chamber of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) has changed the duty stations of 506 judges and prosecutors as part of the 2023 judicial and administrative autumn decree based on excuses.
The Chamber completed its work on the decree and announced it on the Council's website.
Accordingly, the duty stations of a total of 506 judges and prosecutors, 480 in the judicial judiciary and 26 in the administrative judiciary, were changed within the scope of their excuses.
GÖKALP KÖKÇÜ APPOINTED TO ERZURUM
With the decree, the duty station of Public Prosecutor Gökalp Kökçü, who was conducting the illegal betting investigations into the Dilan-Engin Polat couple, the Tayyar Taylan-Özlem Öz couple, and Tuzlaspor President Mehmet Berzan İlhanlı by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was changed.
Kökçü was appointed to the position of Public Prosecutor at the Erzurum Regional Court of Justice by the HSK decision.
It has been alleged that this change was made due to 3 separate ongoing investigations by the HSK against Kökçü regarding bribery allegations.
New prosecutor or prosecutors will be appointed by the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to the investigations that Kökçü was conducting and which were closely followed by Turkey.
