Protagonists of forbidden love scandal, groom and mother-in-law, taken into custody

An incident that stunned all of Turkey took place on the program "Esra Erol'da".
25-year-old Dilek, who has a mental disability, had applied to the program claiming that her 21-year-old fiancé, Cuma, had run off with her 47-year-old mother, Güldane.
Dilek stated that her fiancé and her mother were overly intimate, spent all their time together, and had subjected her to violence.
A viewer who called into the program claimed that Güldane was 3 months pregnant by Cuma.
CUSTODY DURING LIVE BROADCAST
Following the scandalous incident that drew backlash, a new development occurred. The broadcast was accepted as a tip-off, and police teams arrived at the studio during Esra Erol's program. The police took the groom and the mother-in-law into custody.
IT WAS ALSO REVEALED THAT HE IS AN AWOL SOLDIER
The pair was taken to the police station on allegations of threatening and using violence against Dilek. On the other hand, it was also revealed that Cuma Doğan is an AWOL soldier.
RTÜK ALSO TOOK ACTION
As reactions to the repulsive incident continued, RTÜK also took action. RTÜK Chairman Ebubekir Şahin announced that they had launched an investigation into the program with the following words:
"An investigation has been launched regarding the broadcast on the 'Esra Erol'da' program aired on ATV, which has come to the public's attention, and the necessary procedures will be carried out immediately.
We would like to once again importantly remind our broadcasting organizations of the 'Principle Decisions' we have taken regarding such programs, emphasizing that they must act more sensitively and responsibly, especially concerning family structure, the protection of children, and social values."
