According to the information obtained, the detention took place during a concert at an entertainment venue operating in Çeşme. It is alleged that proceedings were initiated against the rapper due to certain song lyrics he reportedly wrote and performed regarding fugitives sought with a red notice.

Following the detention, a statement was shared by his team on Güncü's social media account. The statement noted that the legal process concerning the artist is ongoing and called on the public to show sensitivity to the principles of the "presumption of innocence" and "fair trial."


The statement also emphasized the belief that art and music are fundamental elements of freedom of expression. It was stated that legal assessments should only be made by authorized bodies, and it was requested that speculative evaluations made outside of official channels should not be given credence.
