Research: Which sector has the world's happiest employees?

A new study has shown that the world's happiest employees are those who work outdoors and in social roles. The Harvard Study of Adult Development, one of the longest-running studies on happiness, found that employees are happier in jobs that require human interaction and offer opportunities to build meaningful relationships with colleagues.

According to a new study, the employees with the happiest professions have been identified. In this context, the happiest professional group was found to be those in the construction sector. Technology followed in second place, followed by finance, while employees in non-profit organizations and the food sector were the next happiest, respectively. 

THE HAPPIEST ARE THOSE WORKING IN THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR

BambooHR, which operates as a job search platform, conducted a survey with 57,000 professionals from over 1,600 companies across many parts of the world and in hundreds of different fields to find the world's happiest employees. 

Analyzing the responses provided by individuals, the company announced the happiest professions in the list it prepared.

The professions with the highest scores and the happiest employees are:

1. Construction: 49 points

2: Technology: 41 points

3. Finance: 37 points

4. Non-profit organizations: 35 points

5. Food: 35 points

6. Travel and hospitality: 35 points

7. Education: 34 points

8. Healthcare: 31 points
