The D-8 countries VIP networking event, organized by MUSIAD UK, took place at the ambassadorial residence, hosted by Turkey's Ambassador to London, Osman Koray Ertaş.

Well-known figures from the business and social world came together in London with representatives from D-8 countries and the London business community.
Representing the Sabancı family from Turkey, Demir Sabancı and his wife Aslıhan Koruyan Sabancı, DOBİSAD President Nilüfer Çevikel, Bourz Agency President Bengü Arslan Ersin and Betül Gülbahar, as well as Neslişah Yılmaz, who is well-known in the London business world, attended.

The event began with an opening speech by MUSIAD UK Vice President and Head of the Diplomatic Relations Commission, Türkan Akbaş. Akbaş emphasized the purpose of the event by stating, “This evening, we are supporting global economic growth by bringing together business leaders from D-8 countries.”
She also highlighted that the D-8 Organization, established in 1997 under Turkey's leadership, plays a vital role by making significant contributions to global trade.

In his speech, MUSIAD UK President Murat Bingöl emphasized the importance of this event, which will bring D-8 countries closer both socially and commercially.
He stated that the event being held in the United Kingdom, which holds many economic opportunities, carries a special significance.

The evening was attended by members of parliament, diplomatic missions of D-8 countries, and presidents and members of various associations such as the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce, and the Brands Association.

During the evening, thanks were extended to the host, Ambassador Osman Koray Ertaş, Head of Overseas Organization Selim Sar, Head of European Diplomatic Relations Ömer Başkan, Head of European Organization Nurdan Ertugrul, MUSIAD UK President Murat Bingöl, and Nalan Dal and Umit Sonmez from RGB Group.
