Bekiroğlu, who occasionally shares updates about her health status with her followers, had announced in a post from her hospital room recently that she had undergone her 8th surgery, adding the note, "Hopefully the last." The actress's latest post showed that her treatment process has not yet been completed.

In a program she previously attended, Bekiroğlu explained that the process she went through changed her outlook on life, stating that her health problems taught her important lessons.

"This process actually taught me a lot about health. It showed me that everything can slip through your fingers in an instant. I realized how temporary things like external beauty and visibility on social media actually are. I can say it brought me closer to God.
