Hospitalized and taken into surgery, Şimal underwent an 8-hour operation.
Shortly after the operation, the singer, who had shared the good news of her recovery, has now made a new statement regarding her health status.

Şimal announced her health status on her social media account with the following words:
"My friends, I was very hesitant about sharing this news, but my inbox is overflowing. You all wondered because you haven't heard from me, and rightly so. Please understand me, we are devastated as a whole family; just when we thought we had recovered, once again... In short, and unfortunately, this disease has caught me again."
Şimal continued as follows:
"This time, it has metastasized to my meninges. The thing that makes us happy is that we caught it early. The treatments will begin on Monday; my oncologist will strengthen the medication.
