To test this idea, glass structures were monitored using scattered laser light. It was observed that the glass samples were moving toward new arrangements and reshaping themselves.
Professor Blochowicz stated, "Small fluctuations in the molecules had to be documented using an ultra-sensitive video camera. You cannot watch the molecules wiggling around."
