Stone revealed the names of the film, the producer, and the lead actor in statements she made at the time.
Stone stated that the name of the producer who pressured her into sexual relations was Robert Evans, and that the famous actor Billy Baldwin was her co-star.
The pair starred in the production titled Sliver, which was released in 1993.
Evans, who managed the production company Paramount for many years, passed away in 2019. Evans, who was also the producer of films such as The Godfather, The Italian Job, The Great Gatsby, and Chinatown, had helped Stone climb the ladder of fame before her film Basic Instinct.
Stone said that Evans told her, "I slept with Ava Gardner and you should sleep with Billy Baldwin because if you have sex with him, Baldwin's performance will be better. We need Billy to perform better in the film."
Stone stated that she did not experience such an incident with Michael Douglas, with whom she shared the lead role in Basic Instinct, saying, "I didn't have to sleep with Michael Douglas. Michael would come to work and do his job properly, say his lines, rehearse, and finish his work."
