She had been released: Another lawsuit filed against Nihal Candan, this time by her husband Faruk Çiçek!

Sisters Bahar and Nihal Candan (Gülnihal Çiçek), who became known through the fashion competition "İşte Benim Stilim" and later became social media influencers, along with Hacı İsrafil Sağlam, were detained on November 14, 2023, on charges of "money laundering" as part of an investigation conducted by the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The influencer sisters were arrested and sent to prison on November 16, 2023. While the judicial process was ongoing, Nihal Candan developed anorexia and her weight dropped to 37 kilograms. After being hospitalized, Nihal Candan was released from prison following a medical report stating that her treatment could not be continued in prison.

Following her release, another lawsuit was filed against Nihal Candan, this time by her husband.

Faruk Çiçek stated in the petition that the arrest and subsequent events negatively affected him commercially, damaged his reputation, and that he lost trust in his wife due to Nihal Candan's silence regarding these events.

According to the report by Özge Eğrikar from Hürriyet, the couple, who married on July 28, 2023, is getting a divorce. The petition submitted by the lawyer of her husband, Faruk Çiçek, is summarized as follows:

"My client, who was left alone when they had been married for only 3 months, has been unfairly discussed by the public because of his wife. My client, who also experienced problems with his children because of Nihal Candan, was negatively affected commercially, and both his and his family's reputation were damaged. Due to Nihal Candan's silence regarding these events, my client has lost trust in his wife, and therefore the marital union has become unbearable. We request that the parties be divorced as the marital union has been shaken to its foundations."
