She had filed a lawsuit against Betül Cüreklibatır: Discovery decision in Filiz Cüreklibatır's inheritance case

Filiz Cüreklibatır, the plaintiff, and the defendants, stepmother Betül Cüreklibatır and her son Kaan Cüreklibatır, attended the hearing of the case, which has been ongoing for a year at the Istanbul Civil Court of First Instance, along with their lawyers.

According to the report in Hürriyet, the court ruled for a discovery to be conducted with the assistance of three expert witnesses to determine the value of the villa in 3rd Levent, which was mentioned in Cüneyt Arkın’s will and was sold after he lived there for many years.

Cüneyt Arkın has two sons, Murat and Kaan, from his marriage to Betül Cüreklibatır in 1972.

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

The inheritance lawsuit filed by Filiz Cüreklibatır, the daughter of master Yeşilçam actor Cüneyt Arkın, who passed away on June 28, 2022, from his first marriage, is ongoing.

Filiz Cüreklibatır had filed a lawsuit against Betül Cüreklibatır and her brothers Murat and Kaan, alleging that they smuggled assets from the inheritance.

Yeşilçam leading man Ediz Hun and İlkim Karaca, the wife of Cem Karaca, testified as witnesses.

It was revealed that in a will written in his own handwriting in 2009, Cüneyt Arkın left his real estate to his wife Betül Cüreklibatır and their sons Murat and Kaan.

Filiz Cüreklibatır had stated that in a meeting she had with her father in 2009, he told her he would give her a share of the house in Levent, but that his sons Murat and Kaan Polat and his wife Betül were putting pressure on him.

Ediz Hun, who was heard as a witness, emphasized that Cüneyt Arkın's assets were not high and that he was not under pressure, saying, "In our era, we could only buy a house after working for four years. Cüneyt was not someone who would be pressured."
