Shocking claim from Angelina Jolie: Brad Pitt had been violent before
Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has made a shocking accusation against her ex-husband Brad Pitt, from whom she separated in 2016. She claimed that the physical abuse she suffered at the hands of Pitt began long before the 2016 plane incident.

In court documents submitted to the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Jolie's lawyers alleged that Pitt had a history of physical abuse toward her even before the incident on a private jet in 2016.
Jolie's lawyers stated, "While Pitt's history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family's September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well. Jolie then immediately left him."
Pitt's inner circle, meanwhile, told People magazine that these allegations were "untrue."
DEMANDED A NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT
Jolie and Pitt purchased a 1,300-acre estate and shares in the Miraval Winery in France in 2008 and went into business together.
Both stars held a 50 percent stake in the property as well as the wine production business. However, following the couple's divorce, Jolie sold her shares in the property to a Russian oligarch in 2021, and Pitt filed a lawsuit accusing Jolie of "systematically obstructing" his management of the winery and selling her stake without first offering it to him.
Jolie stated that she had made an offer to Pitt before completing the sale, but they could not reach an agreement because Pitt wanted her to sign a "non-disclosure agreement" regarding the incidents of violence.
In court records reviewed by The New York Times, it was alleged that Pitt "choked one of the children and struck another in the face" and "grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her." The records also stated that he "poured beer on Jolie and beer and red wine on the children."
