Sinan Akçıl forgot his car in an impound lot for 10 years: 'I just forgot, what can I do?'

Sinan Akçıl has made headlines for forgetting his vehicle, which remained in an impound lot for 10 years. Responding to questions from Kanal D Haber, Akçıl stated that the vehicle had not been used for a long time and that he had completely forgotten about it, saying, "It was a vehicle I wasn't using; the driver had it impounded. I forgot about that car. What can I do?"

Akçıl's car was impounded upon his return from Balıkesir due to a lack of traffic insurance.

Afterward, Akçıl went abroad and did not remember his car for years. While hundreds of thousands of liras in parking fees accumulated during the time the vehicle remained in the lot, the situation eventually turned into an enforcement case.

The singer stated that he reached an agreement with the parking lot management for 100,000 TL and that he would retrieve his vehicle after making the payment.
