Sinan Çetin's son Rüzgar Çetin gets engaged to Ahmet Nur Çebi's daughter Mina Nur

Rüzgar Çetin, the businessman son of famous director Sinan Çetin—who caused the death of a police officer while driving under the influence in 2011—has taken the first step toward marriage.

Çetin became engaged to Mina Nur Çebi, the daughter of former Beşiktaş president Ahmet Nur Çebi, with whom he has been in a relationship for some time, at a family ceremony in Istanbul.

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

In 2011, Rüzgar Çetin was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in prison for "conscious negligence" in an incident that resulted in the death of one police officer and left another severely injured. Taking into account the 9 months he had already spent in custody, the court ordered Çetin's release in 2016.
