Announcing the news of the divorce with a statement on her Instagram account, Sevil Görgülü wrote, "My dear friends and valued followers, in life, things do not always go as we plan, and we are forced to make certain decisions.
We have mutually ended our 40-year marriage contract with Ayhan Görgülü.
May everyone's path be clear," she wrote. The reason for the couple's divorce is unknown.
