Singer Kalben detained
Kalben, known for songs such as 'Yara', 'Düşünürüm', 'Sadece', and 'Saçlar', has been detained in a drug operation conducted in Istanbul. 'Skunk' type narcotics were found in the singer's home.

Famous musician Kalben, whose residence in the Cihangir neighborhood of Beyoğlu district was raided in the morning hours, has been brought to the Istanbul Provincial Police Department.
During the search of the singer's home, 15 grams of "skunk" type narcotics in three separate pieces, along with 2,000 euros, 730 dollars, and 1,500 TL, were seized.
The investigation initiated into Kalben is ongoing.
WHO IS KALBEN?
Kalben Sağdıç (born January 17, 1986, in İskenderun, Hatay) is a Turkish musician, songwriter, and women's rights advocate.
Kalben, who began her interest in music at the age of 8 with a keyboard her mother bought for her, got her first guitar at the age of 14. This guitar was a second-hand Santana. She graduated from the Department of International Relations at Bilkent University in 2007, which she entered on a scholarship at the age of 17.
After trying to work in various fields, she began a master's degree in Media and Cultural Studies at the same university's Department of Graphic Design in 2008 and graduated in 2011.
After submitting her thesis on ways of preserving memories and heirlooms, she moved to Istanbul to find work. She began working as a brand manager at Universal Pictures. Later, she was involved in various jobs such as screenwriting, editing, project management, copywriting, and translation.
She continued to make music and give concerts occasionally in Ankara and Istanbul. The video of 'Sadece', released from a concert she gave with only her guitar in a house in Galata as part of Sofar Sounds on October 18, 2014, quickly became the most-watched among Sofar videos.
She began her music career after the children's novel series she released, titled Lulu. She played the role of a cleaner in the series Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer?. Her first album, which bears her stage name, Kalben, was released in February 2016 under the Doğan Music Company label.
Kalben released her third studio album, Kalp Hanım, on March 20 on all digital music platforms under the Garaj Müzik label.
