It has been announced that education has been suspended on Monday, February 24, in Samsun and the İnebolu district of Kastamonu, where snowfall has intensified. In a statement made by the Samsun Governor's Office, it was reported that, according to warnings from the 10th Regional Directorate of Meteorology, disruptions in transportation due to icing and frost are expected to occur due to the heavy snowfall that will continue to affect the city.

The statement announced that, as a precautionary measure, education and training have been suspended for one day on Monday, February 24, in all public/private, formal and non-formal education institutions and rehabilitation centers affiliated with the Directorate of National Education, in nurseries affiliated with the Directorate of Family and Social Services, and in need-oriented day-care and 4-6 age Quran courses affiliated with the Mufti's Office.

It was also noted that pregnant employees, disabled employees, and mothers whose children attend nursery or kindergarten in public institutions will be considered on administrative leave for one day.

SNOW DISRUPTS EDUCATION IN KASTAMONU AS WELL

In a written statement made by the İnebolu District Governorate, it was stated that according to data from the General Directorate of Meteorology, snow, frost, and icing are expected in the district.

The statement reported that for this reason, education has been suspended in the district on Monday, February 24, and that disabled and pregnant public personnel will also be considered on administrative leave.
