Statement from Banu Parlak following the arrest of Dilan and Engin Polat: 'You didn't believe me'

Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, and Sezgin Polat, who were already under arrest on charges of money laundering, were brought to the Küçükçekmece Courthouse in connection with the shooting at Banu Parlak's workplace.

In a written statement regarding the matter, the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the couple and Sezgin Polat had been arrested for 'inciting the crime of armed threat by more than one person'.

'JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED'

Expressing her thoughts following today's development, Banu Parlak stated, 'Since the very first day, I have been tearing myself apart to prove that my claim was true. You didn't believe me when I said my life was in danger. With the court's decision, it has been established that the Polat couple incited that attack. Justice has been served, I am very happy.'
