"First of all, there is no way to describe what we have been going through for months! Unfortunately, only those who experience it know, and I hope no one ever has to. Today, a prison sentence was given to the culprit who caused my father's death and, on top of that, tried to portray my father as being at fault.
The pain of losing our father is still in our hearts, but the fact that the truth was proven and a prison sentence was handed down has given us a glimmer of hope.
As a family, we will continue our legal battle in the higher court so that the person who caused our father's death while he was crossing at a pedestrian crossing, and the false witnesses who unjustly blamed my father, truly receive the full punishment they deserve."
