Duygu Nebioğlu, the daughter whom master theater actor Metin Akpınar had kept hidden from everyone, appeared on the program titled 'Neler Oluyor Hayatta'.

Explaining that she has a twin, Duygu Nebioğlu said, "I am forbidden from talking about this, but I am one of the two daughters of my father, Metin Akpınar."

'BAD THINGS HAPPENED IN MY CHILDHOOD'

Explaining that her mother left her and her sibling with a caregiver in a village in Antalya, Nebioğlu said, "First I tried to accept this, then I tried to reach my father. It was not easy at all to reach him. I did not do these things to upset or wear anyone out. Since we could not communicate on certain issues, I wanted to seek my own rights."

After staying in an orphanage for a while and being adopted, Metin Akpınar's daughter stated, "There are bad things in my childhood. There are very bad images in my memory that I want to forget."

'I DID NOT COMMUNICATE DIRECTLY'

Stating that Metin Akpınar was very surprised when he first saw her, Nebioğlu said, "We sat down at 7 in the evening and chatted until 7 in the morning. I told him everything I had experienced at length. That day, he embraced me."

Stating that Metin Akpınar had accepted her from the beginning but that she did not see him as much as she had hoped, Nebioğlu expressed her sadness by saying, "I never wanted to upset my father. But it was as if he couldn't spare time for me. There were times when I felt like I was bothering him. For 5 years, I did not communicate with him directly."

Nebioğlu said that within 14 years, she was only able to meet with her father, Metin Akpınar, once a year. She emphasized that he only spared time for her on Father's Day.

'MY EYES ARE NOT ON THE MONEY'

Nebioğlu, who filed a lawsuit against her father Metin Akpınar a year ago, concluded her words by saying, "My eyes are not on the money. If my father passes away one day, God forbid, I will use this money for animals. I had to file this lawsuit."
